Translators are still needed. This is a very urgent prayer request. Jeff met with a group of 12 potential translators on Sept. 27. So far he has a commitment from one. We need 5.
A second prayer request is for me. During our trip, each night after we do our home visits throughout the day, we are going to meet for a church service. Each night, one of the men on the team will be preaching a sermon. This is way outside my comfort zone but I know that God is able to give me the power and words but I need lots of prayer for this. Pray as I prepare messages and then for me as I preach them. I've done teaching before but these messages are evangelistic messages.

I love to hear the words, "way outside of my comfort zone", because I have come to leran that this is where the real growth for life comes in. I will be praying for you. And am thrilled to see you taking this challenge on!

thanks for the offer of notes. I have a couple of messages prepared. I have one on the wise man/foolish man in Matt 7 and one on the great feast in Luke 14.
Interesting that you should mention the great feast in luke 14. I am planning a series of "Table Talks with Jesus" from the book of Luke for communion. I am starting this week since Doug is off to see his new/1st grandbaby!
I am starting with the "Matthew party" in Luke 5. Maybe you should send me your notes! :)
